We continue our series "Heroes and History of Armenia", again through the pictures taken here and there Stepanavan, Yerevan and ailleurs.Cliquez on tofs to enlarge.
At the very center Stepanavan stands a huge statue of the man regarded by some as the "Caucasian Lenin" and which gave its name to the city Stepanavan, known until 1938 Jalal Oghly (this is the only city in Armenia, which has kept its name "Soviet" after the collapse of the USSR).
Good is sure like that, it does not look terrible. But with a little imagination, you can let yourself dream a bit and say that this is where Shahumyan fomented the Revolution with his cronies ... just that.

Suffice to say that while some had binoculars in front, the hiding in caves for holding secret meetings, is not the top ... especially if the guy had the sudden urge to make a fire to warm story ... there even need binoculars ... "Honey, I think there are people who are facing a secret meeting ..."
I will end abruptly this post with this: you need to know about Shahumyan is that it was he who was appointed to lead the Revolution in the Caucasus and was named by Lenin , himself "leader of the Baku Commune and thus higher of its 26 commissioners. They will coldly executed in 1918 by the White Army .
